Christian soaking music is ideal for those who are wanting to spend more time with God in prayer. There is no replacement for quality time with God. When we live our lives at His feet it makes all the difference in how we reflect the image
of Christ.
Jesus came to give us abundant life. This abundant life begins when we receive Him. It continues as we seek to know Him more. Christian soaking music provides help in creating an atmosphere for the Presence of God.
Exodus 33:14-15
“And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.”
Just as Moses did not want to go unless the Presence of the Lord was with him. In the same way, we do not want to go about our days without the Lord at our side. There is nothing more foundational to the Christian life than to live in the Presence of God.
When we spend time soaking in God’s Presence it say to Him that we cannot go about our lives dependent of Him. One of the hardest things for people to do is just “slow down” and cease from their own works. In the beginning, we see God setting the example of resting on the seventh day. Jesus said that He is “Lord of the Sabbath” and that He was always “about His Father’s work”.
In Christ, we have entered into that rest. He is “The Rest” that we need in our lives. Christian soaking music is a tool to help us enter into the reality of that rest that He has for us. Jesus has an “easy yoke”, religion is a “hard yoke”. Anointed music is a way that we can experience His rest and receive His love in a deeper way. There are many soaking music artists that have created some really nice music for prayer and worship times.
