Living in Holy Spirit Community

A Heart of Worship Engaging in Fellowship

How important it is to learn love for the Presence of God. We are the temples of the Living God. It should be our passion to be filled to overflowing with His Holy Spirit. We are filled by singing to one another songs, hymns and spiritual songs (interesting, it did not say to God). This reveals God’s heart concerning the intimacy that we have towards one another as a community as well as lavishing our affection upon Him.

  • Enjoy new songs that God wants to pour out.
  • Choose to be Spirit-led in your worship times.
  • Love it all! (the old songs and the new. God loves variety.)
  • Love the simplicity of Christ, Beholding Him and be transformed from glory to glory.
  • Recognize that you are the earthen vessel that God wants to inhabit! And make room for it. Spend time soaking in the Presence of God.
  • Love the quiet place the deep intimate place with God. All authority flows from intimacy. In the measure we sow, that will be the measure that we also reap.
  • Allow the song of the Lord and the melodies of the Spirit to flow in y our heart. Sometimes this can be blocked by bitterness, unforgiveness and unresolved issues. When these are cleansed there is an opening that occurs allowing the Holy Spirit to flow in to greater measures and influence.

And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God.

Ephesians 5:17-22

The Heart of Prayer/A Community of Prayer

  •  Jesus ever lives to intercede at the right hand of God. It is our duty, obligation and joy to pray without ceasing as well. This is kingdom living.
  • Don’t box up how and when to pray. NOW is the time to pray!
  • Pray for one another. Have times of genuine family prayer for one another.
  •  Find a time to have a soaking prayer gathering with a group of people. This can be very good times for impartation and healing for many.
  • Take communion regularly. Have a candlelight gathering with soaking music/worship and pray for one another and others and whatever else releasing faith as the blood of Christ takes effect in these gathering.

The Heart of a Warrior/A Community of Warriors

Believers are to fight for one another. David was a worshipper, but a warrior as well. It was his communion with God that gave him victory over his enemies.

It is the God of peace that crushes satan under our feet. We must be surrendered to the God of peace in order to have legitimate authority over the devil and dark powers.

And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Romans 16:20

The Heart of Generosity/A Community of Generosity

Have a generous heart and receptive heart. Let there be a mutual exchange of giving and receiving. Know that you cannot out-give God. Know how good He is giving joyfully with a good attitude.

God does have a benefits program for us. He says, If you will do this I will do that . . .

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Luke 6:38-39

So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. 33 I have coveted no one’s silver or gold or apparel. Yes, you yourselves know that these hands have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me. I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ “

Acts 20:32-36

The Heart of Holiness/A Community of Holiness – Purity

Without holiness no one will see the Lord. There is a call to purity. Who shall ascend to the hill of the Lord? He who has clean hands and a pure heart. This is not about outward-form, but inner-transformation and being surrendered to the HOLY Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a “HOLY” Spirit. So the result of His indwelling will be holiness in our hearts. A cleansing, sanctifying, sifting and purifying work is done in us by the Spirit so that we abhor evil and delight in righteousness and the things of God. This is where God brings us to a place where He can actually trust us with His glory and presence. We trust in the righteousness of Christ and His blood. So it is true that it is NOT our righteousness. Yet there remains a trust that God looks for in faithful hearts.
